Shampoo

Whilst getting ready for work this morning, I couldn't help but wonder, who invented shampoo? What made them think that putting some sort of substance on their hair was a good idea? Was it discovered by accident? Did it start as a joke? I wonder how long it took for it to catch on and become the 'norm' to wash your hair with shampoo! Hmm!

I reckon it was an advertsing consultant who's motivation was not to assist people get clean hair, but to make more money for their client - probably Proctor and Gamble.Other bloggers have discussed various experimnets re how long you can leave your hair before you REALLY have to wash it, and it does go through a skanky stage, but eventually it balances itself out and you never need to wash your hair again!!

You really are a deep thinker, aren't you hmmm....

I've just started using a new shampoo and conditioner. You know you are told to change what you use every now and then so I started using tresemme. Its good actually - my hair has been much softer!

So thats an additional question! Why is changing your shampoo every now and then good for your hair?

Can't be Twig then. She only washes her hair once a year (on her birthday)!
